Barcelona are all set to buy their ex player Gerard deulofeu for reportedly £10.5 million.
They are set to trigger their buy back clause that was included in his contract before selling him to English side Everton.
With the English club in no interest of keeping the Spanish u-21 captain there are very few obstacles in this transfer.
Deulofeu is currently on loan at ac Milan from Everton. He has 3 goals and 4 assists in 17 appearances for the Italian side.
The 23 year old has shown great potential on an international level which has impressed Barca.
The Spaniard is a right winger which means that we will not be able to see the formidable and deadly MSN attack again.
If this signing is complete we may have to see Messi shifting back to midfield position.
We’ve seen glimpses of messi playing in midfield in the previous season, where he was easily dribbling past players and providing those killer through balls.
During his time at Everton, deulofeu was made to play as sole striker due to injured lukaku. The Spaniard failed to impress their head coach Ronald koeman who was an ex Barcelona star himself.
With the current pressure on Barcelona to play at their previous level where they used to completely dominate the game irrespective of the opposition they played against, we can expect a few big money signings from them this summer.
Barcelona had the chance to sign their ex player for something around £6 million but their then manager Luis Enrique showed no interest in signing the winger,
Deulifeu is widely recognized for his tip top passes in the attacking half with the likes of Lionel messi, Luis Suarez, neymar waiting to finish the passes we can see a deadly attack formation from the Catalan giants.
With the exposure deulofeu has attained due to his frequency of transfers that let him play in England and Italian conditions will come a long way in helping him to play amongst the elite European oppositions.
But playing with MSN is not as easy as it looks, it needs top quality execution skills from a player to match the level that they play on.
