An American multinational corporation that is engaged in sales of footwear, Nike announced that it has acquired Tel Aviv based a leading computer vision firm Invertex as the company ensures to strengthen its digital technology along with talent as part of its Consumer Direct Offense.
The group of team members will focus on forming outstanding innovations to help Nike serve millions of members across the globe.
Chief Digital Officer at Nike said, “The acquisition of Invertex will deepen our bench of digital talent and further our capabilities in computer vision and artificial intelligence as we create the most compelling Nike consumer experience at every touch point.”
Chief Executive Officer at Invertex, David Bleicher said, “Nike’s connection to and understanding of their consumer is unsurpassed and we look forward to joining their team to help drive the Consumer Direct Offense.”
Yet, the company does not reveal the detailed information about the acquisition, but the company stated that the computer vision firm Invertex along with its staff would help it deliver innovations to the market.
