PREVIEW: PORTUGAL VS CHILE, BATTLE OF DEBUTANTS

The first semi final of FIFA confederations cup is set to be played between the debutants to the tournament.

These two sides have conceded the least amount of goals amongst all the sides.

The pre-match rituals have already begun with Chile’s Arturo Vidal taking a dig at Cristiano ronaldo doubting his capabilities in a high tension game like this.

Notable player missing the game would be pepe who is serving a suspension due to yellow cards limit.

The reigning European champions meet the reigning two-time Copa America champions at the Kazan Arena at 11:30 PM( IST)  on Wednesday to fight for a place in the final of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017.

These two sides have met three times in the past with Portugal winning two times and a draw match. This shows the domination of European side on south American side.

Cristiano ronaldo is the tournaments leading scorer with two goals and a assist.

Chile have scored the least goals of all the semi finalists and also scored the least of all.

The match will be telecasted live on Sony six in India.
