The long South Africa Series has come to an end and Virat Kohli to become first Indian captain to lead the team in first bilateral series in SA. Now, the team ready for their next assignment that is triangular series in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and India will fight for the one title and Rohit Sharma will be leading Indian Team in the actions of Virat Kohli and will lead a second-string side in the upcoming series.
Three teams remind culture of joint family and will regroup to celebrate the hosts’ 70th year of Independence in the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka by playing the Nidahas Trophy. In 1988, Nidahas Trophy was last played to celebrate the country’s 50th.

Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik are the two wicketkeepers in Indian squad and it would be interesting to see which one Rohit picks in the opening. Well, IPL is not that far so it’s a warm-up match for the players.
As the team captained by Rohit Sharma and Shikhar act as his deputy and other squad member list includes Suresh Raina, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant (wk), Mohammad Siraj and Jaydev Unadkat.
